Jarne Sterckx obtained his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from KU Leuven in 2023, specialising in sports physiotherapy. He currently works as a sports physiotherapist in Leuven, as part of the team at Magnus Physiotherapy. His approach focuses on active rehabilitation, combining exercise therapy with manual techniques to effectively alleviate symptoms and promote recovery. He works closely with his patients to draw up a bespoke treatment plan aimed at restoring mobility and improving physical fitness. With his background as a tennis player and tennis coach, Jarne has a keen eye for the balance between exertion and capacity. Whether it’s knee complaints, a shoulder problem or running-related pain — he supports athletes with acute injuries, patients with persistent complaints such as back pain, and patients undergoing post-operative rehabilitation, such as after an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Jarne not only helps his patients become pain-free, but also guides them towards a sustainable recovery and a safe return to sport. |
