At Magnus, you can also come to us for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) symptoms. These are triggered by movements of the head and the following symptoms are manifested:

  • dizziness
  • feeling that the environment around you is moving or spinning
  • loss of balance
  • nausea
  • vomiting

These symptoms may come and go and usually last less than a minute, may disappear for a while and then return. Activities that cause it may vary from person to person but are almost always caused by a change in the position of the head. Often, the symptoms are also accompanied by abnormal rhythmic eye movements. For these complaints, you can contact our specialised physiotherapists in one of our reference practices.
