Ilias graduated as a physiotherapist from KU Leuven, specialising in sports physiotherapy. This year he is also following the postgraduate course in manual therapy at Ghent University. This broadens his knowledge of treatments and clinical reasoning, so he better understands the story behind a complaint and works from a holistic view. For Ilias, open communication and a relationship of trust are the basis of a successful rehabilitation. An active, individual and functional approach makes the difference for a lasting recovery. Ilias has been passionate about sport all his life, especially football and tennis. He also likes to learn about other sports and what matters in them for a physiotherapist, such as the specific load and the skills an athlete needs. That way, your treatment is always tailored to what you ask of your body, whether you are a top athlete, a recreational athlete or not into sport at all. |
